Pastor Garlena Louise Ramos, M.A.
Pastor Garlena Ramos is a native of Portsmouth, VA born to the late Garland and Mary Hines. She was educated in the Portsmouth Public Schools system and furthered her education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations from Norfolk State University in May 1994. She also obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Christian Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University in May 2013. Pastor Ramos is a Certified Marriage Coach and a Marriage and Family Therapist.

Pastor Ramos was licensed to preach the gospel in September 1993 and was Ordained and Installed as Pastor in July 2015. She is the pastor and founder of Grace Restoration Ministries, located in Portsmouth, VA. This ministry is a “movement of compassion,” winning one soul at a time. Pastor Ramos is also the spiritual advisor for Unity in Christ Women Ministry, the Naomi Project Women Ministry, and Heart to Heart Ministries empowering and equipping women in the Unity of Christ.

Pastor Ramos is the author of "I am NOT a mistake, I am meant to be". A book to heal the residue of sexual abuse. Pastor Ramos shares her testimony to share the healing power of Jesus Christ. In addition, she has been the guest on several radio blog talk shows in Virginia and Tennessee. She was also interviewed by Blessed Magazine, and What About That Talk show, Indianapolis, IN.

She is married to Bishop Stephen A. Ramos, and they pastor New Grace Restoration Outreach Ministries in Portsmouth, VA. Pastor Ramos can be best described by Psalms 34:1, “I will bless the Lord at all times and His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
